Senior Account Executive/Account Manager - London

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play an important role in one of the UK’s leading integrated marketing and communications agencies.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive/Account Manager to join our PR team in London. With at least two years of experience under your belt, you’ll be looking for the opportunity to work across a wider range of sectors and be able to demonstrate experience in a selection of the following areas:

  • Press and media relations
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Public affairs
  • Integrated communications
  • Social media

It is essential that you have sound commercial awareness, good time management, a commitment to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure, the writing ability to produce high quality copy and an interest in news and current affairs.

You should have the ability to generate new business opportunities, input creatively into integrated communications proposals, demonstrate a track record of assisting with successful pitch wins, and proven expertise in developing and retaining accounts.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high-level of dynamism, passion and creative flair, and will also need to be a flexible and versatile team player with the ability to turn a hand to new projects in unfamiliar areas.

Key requirements:

  • Educated to degree level preferably in marketing/journalism/English
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proven track record in prioritising workload as well as managing junior team members
  • Ability to service multiple clients

  • Experience of agency environment servicing multiple accounts

Some travel to Freshwater’s Head Office in Cardiff if you are London based; along with attendance at events outside office hours, with occasional overnight stays, will also be required.
