Freshwater in the running for four industry awards

Freshwater UK has been shortlisted for all four of the categories entered at this year’s CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards.

Freshwater will battle it out in a host of competitive categories with the aim of winning a coveted gold medal at the annual prestigious PR awards.

Freshwater is up for Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy while Cardiff’s account manager, Annabel John, has been shortlisted for Outstanding Young Communicator. The campaigns that have been shortlisted are the UK Trade Investment Summit for Best Event and the University of South Wales Making Business Happen Awards for Best Integrated Campaign.

Annabel John, 26, the outstanding young communicator hopeful, has worked at Freshwater for 18 months delivering at a strategic level for a range of key accounts including Associated British Ports, Business Wales, South Wales Chamber of Commerce and Thompsons Solicitors.

Carolyn Pugsley, Freshwater director, said: “To be shortlisted in four tough categories is a great achievement, and reflects the quality of work that we deliver and the high calibre of staff that we have at Freshwater.

“I’m especially delighted that Annabel’s outstanding communications skills have been recognised by being shortlisted as she is a real asset to the Freshwater team and continually delivers a quality service to our clients.”

Now in its 12th year, the CIPR PRide Awards recognises and celebrates outstanding campaigns, PR professionals and teams across nine UK regions.

The Cymru Wales PRide Award winners will be announced on 16 October at an awards ceremony held at City Hall, Cardiff.
