Cheeky Chompers challenged Freshwater to launch its innovative Neckerchew - a dribble bib with an attached chewy teether – positioning it as a unique solution for teething babies. Our task was to to help drive sales through its new website, while raising the profile of the two “mumpreneurs” behind the brand.
Freshwater strategically targeted new product column opportunities, sent samples for review and liaised with national journalists and key parenting media to secure coverage.
In the first two months of trading, Cheeky Chompers sold more than 1,600 bibs and secured contracts with more than 20 stockists throughout the UK - including Jo Jo Maman Bebe and John Lewis. The company noted that every time Freshwater secured a high-profile piece of coverage in titles, including the Mail Online, Scotland on Sunday and Nursery Today, its online sales spiked, resulting in a ROI of 27x in the first three months of the campaign.
