As a returning client, Visit Wales approached Freshwater to develop a range of digital display banners for their autumn advertising campaign.
We recommended showcasing activities that would engage with and inspire ‘independent explorers’ living throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The digital banners showcased activities including heritage and culture, walking and cycling.
We translated the approached design across a suite of animated MPU’s, leaderboard and skyscraper banners - all in line with the Visit Wales brand guidelines.
The main aim of the activity was to drive ‘clicks’ to visitwales.com so Freshwater incorporated a measureable ‘tag’ for evaluation of each digital platform.
Following the success of the autumn digital campaign, Freshwater was then commissioned to develop digital marketing activity for a Visit Wales campaign aimed at German tourists.
