Freshwater worked with the Welsh Government on a pan-Wales multi-media campaign aimed at parents of children aged 0 - 5 years old. The ‘Parenting. Give it Time.’ campaign aimed to encourage parents to give time to talk and listen to their children, and access advice, guidance and tips on positive parenting techniques from the new dedicated website.
Freshwater developed a new creative concept for the campaign, featuring parents and children enjoying spending time undertaking everyday activities that some parents find stressful including meal time, shopping, bath time and bed time. The images formed the basis of a four-month advertising campaign, devised by Freshwater, which was rolled out across social media, supermarket 6-sheets, S4C sponsorship, WalesOnline, Primary Times and the Google Display Network.
Freshwater also drafted a script and directed a 30 second TV advert which featured on Sky, specifically targeting parents of children under five years across Wales. This was supported by an engaging programme of social media activity and a press and media relations campaign.
